Widening project to begin for US 25 South in Madison County

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – A shoulder widening project is scheduled to begin for US 25 South in Madison County on October 23, 2017.

Work is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. from October 23 through November 7, 2017, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The work is scheduled from the Berea Bypass to the US/421 split on US 25 South.  Several crews are scheduled to be working at the same time.

A pilot truck will be utilized to safely escort vehicles from end-to-end.

Motorists should be aware of heavy construction equipment passing through the area and exercise caution.
