Wet, windy and cool start to the mid-week
A dreary and soggy Wednesday ahead
Rain chances will last all through the day on Wednesday with widespread showers and some pockets of heavy rainfall. Many areas will pick up 1-2″ of rain. Temperatures won’t move much, staying in the low 50s. Winds will be a bit gusty through the day, 20-25 mph out of the east, causing temperatures to feel a bit chillier. Be sure to dress warm and remember your rain gear as you head out the door.
Rain lessens throughout Thursday
Thursday will see some scattered light rain throughout the day and a lot of cloud cover sticking around through the afternoon. Temperatures will remain in the low 50s. Once we reach Thursday evening, things begin to clear out. We will see clear skies overnight into Friday morning. This will allow temperatures to cool down quite a bit, back into the 30s. Frost will be possible on Friday morning, so protect sensitive plants that you still want to hold on to.
Dry and cool for Halloween weekend.
Friday will be dry and mostly sunny. Winds may be a bit on the breezy side. With all the sunshine, temperatures will warm a bit to the mid-upper 50s. Trick or treating will remain dry, but once that sunsets near 6:40 pm, temperatures will quickly dive into the 40s. You’ll probably need to put on the coat underneath those costumes. The rest of the weekend looks to remain dry and cool with some unsettled weather possibly moving in Sunday night.
