Wesley Woodyard Holds Free Football Camp

LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ) – Former UK linebacker Wesley Woodyard held a free football camp in Lexington Saturday to help motivate kids and teach them some gridiron basics.

Dozens of kids came out to Charles Young Center for the camp and spent the day with Woodyard and several of his current and former teammates, including former UK Wide Receiver Keenan Burton and Tennessee Titans Pro Bowler Jurrel Casey.

The event is helped put on by Woodyard’s 16 Ways Foundation, which aims to provide positive childhood development.

Woodyard said the event is one of his favorites and that it brings up memories of when former NFL players would hold camps in his hometown.
