Weekend Concert Supports Women Fighting Painful Condition

The Endometriosis Awareness Benefit Show rocks out at EXO Ultra Lounge in Lexington Saturday, March 29 starting at 8 pm.

Presented by Yellow For Endo and TuffLove Promotions, the concert aims to raise awareness and show support for women dealing with a condition known as endometriosis.

According to the Mayo Clinic, endometriosis is an often painful disorder in which tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows on the outside instead. It affects about 5.5 million women in the United States, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Saturday’s concert will feature local bands Driftwood Gypsy, DubLove, and Devastation International Sound System. Cincinnati band Known Prisoners (formerly known as Zionites) will also perform.

Doors open at 7 pm and the first 50 guests will receive a free signature cocktail. Additionally, those wearing yellow will get $5 off the price of admission.
