Weather Preparations Underway

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet road crews have pre-treated roadways in preparation for possible bad weather.

Pre-treating was done for bridges, overpasses, interstates and parkways.

The pre-treatment of “salt-brine” helps to prevent slick surfaces from forming. The “salt-brine” is a salt-water type treatment.
