Water main extension work in Jacobson Park

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Watch out for pipes near the entrance of Jacobson Park.

Kentucky American Water Company is putting in a new water pipe in Jacobson Park to connect to an existing water main that serves the Ellerslie at Delong subdivision.

The company says the $135,000 project will increase water pressure in the Ellerslie area.

The work is expected to be done in April.

This is part of a larger project that began last year, that includes a new booster pump station at the front of Jacobson Park.
