Man arrested for Forged Money and Drugs
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Richmond Police report they arrested and charged a man for several offenses related to a counterfeit currency investigation.
An officer was dispatched to Big Hill Avenue, after receiving a tip about two men attempting to use a counterfeit bill at the area Sonic. Officers located the men walking away, and identified one of them as 22 year-old Brandon C. Harrison. Officers searched him, finding a counterfeit $100 bill and empty baggies with what appeared to be residue from marijuana
Harrison was taken into custody, and an additional search at the MCDC found four small baggies of methamphetamine, a syringe, and a burnt spoon.
Harrison was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Forged Instrument, Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as Tampering with Physical Evidence and Promoting Contraband.
