Warrant issued in shooting at Lexington temple

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police have named a person wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred in October in the parking lot of the Bhartiya Temple.

Detectives have issued a warrant for 29-year-old Sunilkumar Ramabhai Patel for assault (solicitation).

Back on October 28, police say two men walked outside the Bhartiya Temple when another man appeared and shot at them.

Both men had non life-threatening injuries.

Police say Patel and one of the victims were acquaintances and the shooting was a result of an ongoing domestic dispute.
