Victim in pedestrian fatal on Georgetown Road identified

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Coroner has released the name of the man who was killed after being hit by a semi on Georgetown Road Tuesday morning.

The coroner identified the man as 65-year-old Michael James Brown.

Investigators say he was walking on Georgetown Road at Citation Boulevard at around 4 a.m. when he was hit by a tractor-trailer.

The coroner says Brown died of multiple blunt force injuries and that his death was ruled accidental.
