Vehicle catches fire in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A vehicle caught fire in Lexington Thursday afternoon on Woodhill Drive off New Circle Road behind the Thornton’s Gas Station.

According to Lexington Police, the car’s owner hadn’t started it in over a year. When he did Thursday around 7:20 p.m., it burst into flames.

Officers say the man jumped out quickly and no one was hurt.
