USPS picks up canned food from driveways to Stamp Out Hunger

Today is “Stamp Out Hunger Day.”
It’s the day you leave non-perishable food at your mailbox to be donated to the local God’s Pantry.
The United Food and Commercial Workers Union is a part of this.
Jim Belcher was one of the many volunteers who helped out today.
He says, “I think if people look at the homeless, they too would be moved. Something has got to be done to equalize the affluence and the poverty in this country.”
