US Attorney Suing Somerset Eye Doctor

The US Attorney is suing a Somerset eye doctor and his practice group.

The suit says that Doctor Phillip Robinson and Associates received Medicare and Medicaid money for unnecessary eye exams and for work that was never performed.

Among other things, the suit says Robinson claimed to have treated 100 patients a day at times, in nursing homes.

But the US Attorney says that’s not possible in the eight hours per day that Robinson was there.
