Urban County Councilmember resigning after taking new job

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Urban County Councilmember Jennifer Scutchfield says she’s resigning her position, effective this Thursday, after accepting a job with the State Board of Elections.

She is in her second term on the council representing the 7th District.

Since 2014, the University of Kentucky College of Law graduate has been in private practice with a firm she opened with her husband.
