Urban County Council Member Jennifer Mossotti Recovering From Horseback Riding Accident

9th District Urban County Council Member Jennifer Mossotti underwent successful surgery on Monday after she was injured over the weekend in a horseback riding accident.

According to a release from a legislative aide, Mossotti fractured her collarbone and suffered facial injuries on Saturday, April 19, while horseback riding near her Lexington home.

The release said the 59-year old avid horsewoman was recuperating at home and was expected to make a full recovery.
