UPDATE: Wet Roads May Be Factor In Russell Cave Collision

Lexington police said wet roads Tuesday afternoon may have been a factor in a collision that injured six people.

Two of the victims were children, according to investigators.

According to officers, a black Lexus on Russell Cave Road lost control and slid into a red Pontiac.

Police said two people were critically injured, and one of the two had surgery.

Officers said the collision on Russell Cave Road had been one of at least 32 crashes Tuesday afternoon in Lexington.
