UPDATE: Victim Identified After Deadly Crash Involving Trooper
On Thursday afternoon there was a deadly crash in Whitley County involving a State Trooper.
State Police say Trooper Duane Foley was headed to another accident on Highway 25 when 41-year-old James King pulled into the path of the cruiser.
Investigators say Foley tried to avoid hitting King’s car but couldn’t.
The Whitley County Coroner’s Office pronounced King dead at the scene.
