UPDATE: UK police say thief was selling stolen textbooks

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- University of Kentucky police say an arrest has been made in some recent office burglaries on campus.

Investigators say 30-year-old Anthony Shields of Lexington is charged in the case. Police say he stole textbooks, then resold them to bookstores.

UK police say it received information from police at Morehead State University that helped the department break the case. Investigators say the UK Police Special Operations Team caught Shields in the act of selling stolen books from Western Kentucky University at a Lexington bookstore.

Police say they have reason to believe Shields also targeted other schools.
