UPDATE: Another arrest in Clark Co. murder

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Trooper Robert Purdy tells ABC 36 that the two suspects, Kirk A. Garrett and Christopher W. Coleman, were arrested last night outside of Columbus, Ohio.  It is not known when the two will be brought back to Kentucky to face charges in the shooting death of Roy Combs. 

Don E. Attaway of Richmond was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in the case, according to State Police. According to the Clark County Dentention Center, Attaway’s arraignment will be held Monday at 9 a.m. in Clark District Court in Winchester.

Investigators say they were called just before 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in reference to a fight off of Athens-Boonesboro Road in Clark County.

State Police say upon arrival, Troopers found 25-year old Roy E. Combs of Richmond dead from a gunshot wound.  Combs’ family says he was shot to death on his 26th birthday.  Family and friends held a vigil Wednesday afternoon in Richmond, which included the singing of ‘Happy Birthday’ and the release of balloons in Combs’ honor.
