UPDATE: Two men arrested in Marathon robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say two men were arrested in connection to an early morning gas station robbery.

According to police, just before 4:30 Tuesday the Marathon on Newtown Pike was robbed by two men. Officers say the suspects were seen leaving in a red Jeep. Police say they spotted that Jeep, but it side-swiped a police car, causing minor damage.

No officers were hurt. Police say they found the Jeep again, and two men ran from it. According to police, officers arrested the passenger and eventually found the driver. Investigators say the Jeep was stolen.

Police say the suspects are Quantaveon J. Leavell and Isaiah L. Bell.
