UPDATE: Suspects identified, for Rockcastle Murder

ROCKCASTLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – KSP reports they were called to Livingston on the evening of June 2, to investigate a woman found dead.

Kimberly Slusher and Tabitha Howard are being charged with murder, says KSP, as well as several other charges.

At approximately 11:16 on June 2, one of Rockcastle County’s Deputy Sheriffs called the state police after he discovered the elderly woman in a residence on Red Hill Road, while performing a welfare check on the home owner.

86-year-old Mary A. Hilton of Livingston was pronounced dead at the scene, by Rockcastle County Coroner’s Office.

They added that Hilton’s body was transported to State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Police say it currently appears that she was killed in a home invasion, but investigation is ongoing.
