UPDATE: Suspect Shot To Death By Police Identified

The Fayette County Coroner said 29-year-old Jesse Gibbons of Lexington is the suspect shot and killed by officers in Saturday’s standoff in Richmond.

Officers said Gibbons assaulted a Lexington officer before leading police on a chase to Madison County where he fired shots at multiple law enforcement agencies.

Gibbons died of multiple gunshot wounds according to the coroner.
