Update: Suspect Called Armed And Dangerous Captured In London
Investigators said they began looking for Zachary Franke, 20, of London, Wednesday afternoon after he reportedly fired a pistol in the direction of a cleaning lady in a home where he had been staying on Konitzer Lane in the Sublimity area.
Investigators said Franke fired the .38 revolver for no reason and then took off on a bicycle with the weapon, that authorities said was stolen.
Authorities said Franke’s cell phone pinged and led investigators right to him hiding in a port-a-pot in the back lot of London Flea Land on KY 229.
Investigators said the gun used in the reported incident was also found in the port-a-pot.
Franke was captured approximately 5-hours after the reported incident.
He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center facing a number of charges.
