UPDATE: Second man arrested in 2016 murder case
OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – A second man has been arrested, eight months after the initial arrest in the 2016 murder of an Ohio County man, according to KSP.
Investigators say 33-year old Christopher Hill, of Owensboro, was arrested Thursday, November 30, 2017, and charged with Murder, Kidnapping (victim death) and Tampering with Physical Evidence in connection to the murder of 29-year old Tromain Mackall, of Ohio County.
Mackall was reported missing on July 25, 2016. His body was found later inside a toolbox, floating in Spring Fork Creek in Grayson County, according to State Police.
In March of this year, 48-year old William E. Howard, Junior, of Falls of Rough, Kentucky, was arrested in Brandenburg and charged with the same crimes as Hill in connection to Mackall’s death, according to KSP.
