UPDATE: Road Reopened Where 59 Meth Labs Were Found In Laurel County

A road where more than four dozen meth labs were discovered at a home in Laurel County was reopened shortly after midnight on Thursday, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.

Paris Karr Road, 12 miles south of London, was shutdown Wednesday evening after investigators said they found 59 meth labs at a home along the road.

Investigators said one of the meth labs was active and others had recently been active.

The Sheriff’s Office said two people were arrested at the scene.  Their names were not released.

The Keavy and West Knox volunteer fire department’s were called-in to help dismantle the meth labs, according to investigators.
