Update on New Circle construction

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that there will be overnight lane closures as part of the on-going work on New Circle Road (KY 4) and Versailles Road (U.S. 60). Officials say the lane closures are necessary to allow crews to install traffic monitoring equipment.

The day and times are below:

Thursday, June 2 – 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Crews will close the left lane of the inner loop of New Circle Road (KY 4) between Versailles Road (U.S. 60) and Old Frankfort Pike (KY 1681). Crews will then reopen the left lane and close the right lane between Versailles Road and Old Frankfort Pike.
Friday, June 3 – 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Crews will close the left lane of the inner loop of New Circle Road (KY 4) between Old Frankfort Pike (KY 1681) and Leestown Road (U.S. 421). Crews will then reopen the left lane and close the right lane between Old Frankfort Pike and Leestown Road.
• Crews will close the left lane of westbound (outbound) Versailles Road (U.S. 60) outside of New Circle Road (KY 4) from mile points 4.1 to 4.6. Crews will then reopen the left lane and close the center and right lanes.
