UPDATE: Nicholasville man killed in U.S. 27 collision

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Jessamine County coroner says a Nicholasville man was killed Thursday night on U.S. 27.

The crash was near Bethel Christian Church. It caused a big traffic backup on that part of the road.

The coroner says the victim was 30-year-old Jeremy Hampton of Nicholasville. According to the coroner, he crossed the center line, and hit another vehicle.
