UPDATE: Names Released of Campbellsville Firefighters Flown to UofL Hospital

Officials have released the names and photos of two firemen hurt in Thursday’s accident that occurred during an "Ice Bucket Challenge" at Campbellsville University.

According to reports, Tony Grider and Simon Quinn were injured when the ladder to their fire truck touched a main power line while the college’s marching band was being sprayed with water.

Sister station WHAS11 tells us that the firemen were flown to the University of Louisville Hospital, where one of them is currently in serious condition and the other is listed as critical.

A third firefighter is also believed to be injured, but we’re told he was treated at a local medical center.

A statement on Campbellsville University’s website is asking for prayers for the injured firefighters, and a prayer vigil has been planned tonight at 7 at Stapp Lawn.
