Update: Missing Whitley County Man’s Body Found

The Whitley County Coroner has reported the body of a man who disappeared on Wednesday has been found.

William "Dan" Oakes, Sr. was reported missing by his daughter at around noon on Wednesday.

His remains were found on Thursday along a river bank in the Saxton Community.

Police do not suspect foul play.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
