UPDATE: Lexington police release video of bank robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department has released surveillance video from a bank robbery earlier this week, hoping someone will recognize the suspect.

The robbery was at the Fifth Third Bank on Leestown Road at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Employees told police a man wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and bandanna came into the bank armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

After getting the money, witnesses say he got into a dark-colored SUV, with a another man in the driver’s seat.
