UPDATE: Last of 3 Bell County jail escapees in custody
PINEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The last of three Bell County jail escapees turned himself-in, according to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department. Investigators say 20-year old Raymond Farr surrendered to officials at the Farmer Helton Judicial Center in Pineville on Friday. He was taken back to jail.
Farr had been missing since 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, when he and two other inmates, 28-year old Bobby Holman and 27-year old Gary Joshua Mills, ran out of the jail when a door was left unattended during ventilation of the facility after the air conditioning went out, according to jail officials.
All three inmates are back in custody and facing escape charges, according to investigators.
