UPDATE: KSP investigating after two bodies found in burning car

MCKEE, Ky. (WTVQ) –Kentucky State Police says the deaths of two people in Jackson County are now being considered suspicious.

Kentucky State Police found two bodies Thursday evening inside a burning car.

According to KSP, officers received a call just after 4 p.m. saying that the fire department responded to a vehicle fire on Rock Lick Creek Road.

KSP says when firefighters put the fire out, they found the two bodies.

The deaths are being considered suspicious due to the fire and the location of the incident, according to KSP.

KSP says the cause of the fire is still unknown. The deaths are still under investigation.

No other information has been released.
