UPDATE: Jail escapee captured in Owensboro

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – A teenager who escaped from the Daviess County Detention Center was captured Wednesday in Owensboro, according to State Police.

Troopers say 18-year old Kaleb Anderson, of Owensboro, jumped a border fencing in a secure outdoor area and ran off on Monday, August 28, 2017.

Details of his capture weren’t released by State Police.

He was in jail on burglary and other charges, according to investigators.
