UPDATE: Fourth flood victim found and identified in Johnson County
PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The body of a man who was credited with saving several family members during flash flooding in Johnson County, was found Friday.
The Johnson County coroner says the body of 34-year old Scott Johnson was located after several days of searching. Johnson’s family says Scott saved the lives of his father, uncle, sister and nephew before he was swept away by flash flood waters while trying to carry his grandmother to safety. Her body was found earlier in the week.
Johnson’s death brings the death toll in Johnson County to four following Monday’s devastating flash flooding. The cause of Johnson’s death wasn’t immediately released.
