UPDATE: Escapee captured in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – An inmate who escaped from work release on Tuesday in Christian County was found Friday morning at a home in Hopkinsville, according to KSP.

Investigators say 22-year old Calvin Jermaine Merritt, Jr., of Hopkinsville, was arrested after a short foot chase on Cypress Street.
