UPDATE: Debit card theft suspects identified; warrants issued

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men accused in connection to a stolen debit card from an armed robbery have been identified and warrants issued for their arrests, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators say 24-year old Kwanty Christian, is accused of robbery and fraudulent use of a credit card and 19-year old Carlos Lamar is accused of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Police say the two suspects were caught on security camera using a stolen debit card minutes after an armed robbery on May 4, 2017.

Investigators say a man was robbed in the parking lot of The Lex apartments on South Broadway around 11:00 p.m. while walking to his apartment. Police say the robber got away with the man’s cell phone and wallet.

Police say moments later the man’s stolen debit card was used at two gas stations and a Walmart store.
