UPDATE: Couple Sentenced In Morgan Co. Federal Corruption Case

A building contractor and his wife have been sentenced for their role in federal corruption case out of Morgan County.

Kenneth Lee Gambill and Ruth Gambill were accused of paying Morgan County Judge-Executive Tim Conley money so that Conley would help them win building contracts after the 2012 tornado.

The Gambills plead guilty to money laundering.

According to the Lexington Herald Leader, Kenneth Gambill received nine months home incarceration.

The paper said Ruth Gambill was sentenced to four months home incarceration.

Conley pleaded guilty to fraud and was scheduled to be sentenced next month.
