Update: Condition Of Pedestrian Hit By Police Cruiser Improves

A Richmond man, who State Police said was hit last Friday by a Trooper’s cruiser, has been upgraded to serious condition, according to U.K. Hospital.

State Police said Charles L. Walden, 20, was hit while walking along Kentucky 876 west of Richmond around 10:00 p.m.

Investigators said a Trooper was responding to a non-emergency call when the collision occurred.
