UPDATE: Boil Water Advisory lifted for Hazard

HAZARD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Boil Water Advisory issued January 17, 2018, was lifted Tuesday for customers within the city limits of Hazard, according to the Hazard Water System.

The lifted advisory includes all of KY 15 north to the airport, Airport Gardens, Combs, Bulan, Hardburley and Lotts Creek, according to water officials.

Areas south of Hazard that remain under the advisory include:

-KY 15 south of HCTC

-Fourseam

-KY 7 through Maces Creek

-KY 699

-Cornettsville

-Blackley Clinic

-Leatherwood

-KY 463

-Delphia area

Areas north of Hazard still under the advisory include:

-KY 15 north of the airport

-Couchtown

-Avawam

-Big Creek

-Coal Harbor

-Willard

-Yerkes

-Krypton

-Hwy 28 into Buckhorn

Customers under the advisory should still boil all water to be used for cooking and drinking for at least three minutes until further notice.
