Update: Body Found In Garrard County Field Identified

We have a name after a farmer found a decomposed body while mowing in a Garrard County field on Sunday.

State Police said an autopsy revealed the victim was Floyd Smith, 55, of Crab Orchard.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet said how Smith died.

Smith’s body was found in the field off Kentucky Highway 39.

The investigation continues.
