UPDATE: Arrests Made In Danville Domino’s Robbery-Shooting

Three primary suspects, including a former Danville High School football star, were arrested Thursday in connection to a robbery of a Domino’s that left a clerk shot, according to Danville Police.

Investigators said former Admirals football star Patrick Brand, 21, was arrested after a lengthy search that began at a home in Junction City.  Police said a tip led them to the home on Smallwood Avenue.

Brand wasn’t at the home, but Seth Frazier was, and according to the Boyle County Sheriff, Frazier was arrested and charged with Tampering with Evidence, Resisting Arrest and Hindering Apprehension in the crime.

Meantime, another tip led investigators to a car at 5th and Lexington in Danville where police said Brand was found hiding in the back.  Police said he was arrested and charged with Robbery and Assault.

Police said the driver of the car, whose name wasn’t released, was arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant.

Earlier in the day, Rico Penix, 19, was arrested at a relative’s house in Harrodsburg.  Police said he was charged with Robbery and Assault.

A short time later, Robin Adams, 26, was arrested in Lancaster in Garrard County.
Police said she was charged with Robbery and Assault.

Danville Police said more arrests were possible in the case.

The manager of a Domino’s in Danville said on September 15, 2014, someone phoned-in a fake pizza order to lure a worker away from the business, which left clerk Zoe Reed, 21, alone in the store during the robbery.

When Reed’s co-worker returned from the bogus delivery run, he found her shot in the stomach, according to police.

Reed was critically wounded.

She is still in UK Hospital in Lexington.
