UPDATE: Accused guitar thief turns himself in

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a man accused of stealing a guitar from a music store turned himself in Thursday and returned the stolen instrument.

Investigators say Addison Horsley, of Versailles, stole a Epiphone Les Paul Sunburst guitar from Willcutt Guitars on Rosemont Garden in Lexington on March 7, 2017.

Police say the stolen guitar was recovered.

Investigators say Horsley also stole a guitar from Guitar Center. He is charged with two counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking, according to police.

Police say they received several tips after releasing surveillance video of the theft from Willcutt Guitars, which helped them identify Horsley as the suspect.

Horsley turned himself in at police headquarters.
