UPDATE: I-24 reopens after multiple collisions

EDDYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – All lanes of I-24 reopened Thursday night after being closed due to multiple collisions, according to State Police.

The crashes happened in the eastbound lanes between mile markers 40-and-42 in Lyon County. There were a total of four crashes, beginning just before 1:30 p.m., according to KSP.

Eastbound traffic was down to one lane for several hours. Westbound traffic was never affected, according to State Police.

Investigators say no one was injured enough to need to be taken to the hospital.
