Man accused of stealing $13,000 from Lexington woman
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington woman says she hired a worker to do odd jobs around her home, but he ended up cleaning her out.
Court documents says the victim was impressed with the job Joshua Marshall did for her working for a flooring company, so she hired him outside his employment to do work around her house back in July.
Documents say while doing those jobs, Marshall stole jewelry, money, checks and a gun from her home.
Police say many of the stolen items were sold to pawn shops.
Documents say Marshall stole more than $13,000 from the victim.
