UK To Study Military Suicides
A new grant may help researchers at the University of Kentucky understand the effects of military suicides a little better.
The goal of the study will be to see how the deaths affect family and friends.
A leader of the study told the Lexington Herald Leader that it will last two year and use almost $700,000 in grant money.
Researchers say this could be one of the first times a study like this has happened.
They will do phone interviews with veterans and non-veterans and more than 100 Kentucky families.
