UK grad will be in touring production of ‘Hamilton’ coming to Louisville
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- University of Kentucky graduate and actor Patrick Garr has announced he will be joining a touring production of the musical ‘Hamilton’ that will be coming to Louisville this Summer.
Patrick Garr will play Samuel Seabury and Man 2 in the musical about Alexander Hamilton’s life.
Garr is a University of Kentucky graduate and Lexington native.
He was previously on Broadway in ‘Mean Girls’.
Several Lexingtonians congratulated Garr on social media, including the Lex Theatre Co.
Tickets for the tour’s stop in Louisville go on sale Thursday. You can only purchase them in person or online at kentuckycenter.org
The musical will run from June 4th-23rd and tickets are currently going for as low as $65.50, though the show will likely later hold a ticket lottery which will make tickets available for $10, the bill that features Alexander Hamilton.
