State Street fire after UK’s win over Duke
Fans set couch ablaze after UK victory
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Hundreds of University of Kentucky fans took to State Street late Tuesday night to celebrate the Wildcats’ win over Duke.
Police say a crowd gathered near Crescent Avenue around 11:45 p.m., where a couch was set on fire.
No injuries or arrests were reported, according to officers.The only property damage reported was the burned couch.
Police added that the crowd dispersed by about 12:30 a.m.
