U.S. 119 in Bell County reopens after crash, one person taken to hospital

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A two-vehicle collision sent one person to the hospital and temporarily closed a stretch of U.S. 119 in Bell County, according to emergency dispatch.

Officials say the call came in at 6:20 p.m. on Friday.

There were two vehicles and four people involved in the collision.  The injured person was taken to ARH in Middlesboro, according to dispatch.

No names were released.  The road was temporarily closed from the accident scene to past the ten-mile marker near Tanyard Hill, according to dispatch.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Bell County EMS, Bell County Volunteer Fire Department and Kentucky State Police were all on the scene.
