Two sought for passing bad checks in Jessamine Co.

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Nicholasville are asking for help from the public in identifying two women they say passed stolen checks at 3 banks in Nicholasville and Wilmore.

Officers say on March 9th, the two women went through the Drive Thru of the Bellchase, Brannon Road, and Wilmore branches of Farmers Bank, with checks that were later determined to have been stolen.

Police say the women were driving a newer model Ford Escape with tinted windows.

The two were able to successfully cashed the checks, getting thousands of dollars from an individual’s account, according to officers.
