Two People Dead Following Perry County Fire

VIPER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A death investigation is underway in Perry County after two people were found dead inside of a residence following a fire, according to Kentucky State Police.

They say firefighters with the Viper Fire Department responded to a home on Middle Fork Maces Creek Road around 5:00 a.m. Monday.

Police say the remains were taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy.

The incident is still under investigation.
