Two more chances to meet Hank, help Salvation Army

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Hank, a horse on a mission, is making two more stops to help raise funds for The Salvation Army.
According to Hank’s Facebook page, he will be in Georgetown at Walmart on Dec. 21 and 22, as part of the 2020 Red Kettle Campaign from 12 P.M. to 4 P.M. each day.
The post encourages the public to come meet Hank and, “Help Hank help others in his fight to curb hunger, homelessness, and to make sure no child wakes up on Christmas morning without a gift under their tree.”
To make a donation, you can see him at one of his live Kettle locations or donate to Hank’s virtual kettle HERE.
Health precautions will be in place to keep everyone safe. To maintain social distance protocols, Hank will be in a corral this year. A sanitation area will also be set up so people can sanitize before and after petting Hank. A mask is required.
Pictures with Hank are allowed, along with treats like sugar cubes, carrots, apples or peppermints.
